Type /close at the end of your workday to review what happened, extract loose ends, and leave your vault in a clean state for tomorrow.

Usage

/close

What it does

1

Reviews today's daily note

Reads daily/YYYY-MM-DD.md and compares what you planned in the morning against what actually happened.
2

Extracts action items

Identifies any unfinished tasks, promises made, or follow-ups that need to carry forward.
3

Surfaces vault connections

Finds links between today’s work and existing notes in your vault — connections you might not have noticed in the flow of the day.
4

Logs decisions

Ensures any decisions made during today’s sessions are saved to your vault rather than lost in conversation history.
5

Updates the daily note

Writes back to daily/YYYY-MM-DD.md with:
  • Completed items checked off
  • New action items queued for tomorrow
  • Key decisions recorded
6

Asks for your reflection

Prompts: “What is one thing you learned or noticed today?” — a lightweight reflection habit that compounds over time.
7

Suggests vault updates

Recommends any context files (strategy, goals, project notes) that should be updated based on what happened today.
Pair /today in the morning with /close in the evening for a complete daily workflow. Together they create a consistent rhythm: plan your day, work, then close the loop before you stop.
